The Town of Bristol Improvements Board has commissioned and installed six historical murals with QR Codes within the garden plan itself. Installation of a digital historical repository within the new center will link the Historical Mural Imagery QR Codes to the digital repository and the historical information via digital format. Both garden and center visitors will be able to digitally access historical and educational information via one scan of the QR Code with their mobile or portable devices. This will foster advancement of innovative inter-generational collaboration of Older Adults and youth to oversee and maintain the garden and digital historical repository. It will provide abundant opportunities for the exchange of mentoring and coaching, foster growth and an open exchange of knowledge, while providing invigorating stimuli for mental and visual evolution. These important components will lead to growth and exploration for building strong community relationships among all sectors of the community.
